Meine Osterferien macht viel spaß!

After 2 weeks of backpacking, i realised something about backpacking. And that is backpacking makes you lose track of date and time =)

There are so many pictures i would like to share here. But i shall hand pick some!

Here is a list of places in countries i have visited over the 2 weeks:

1) Salzburg (Austria)

2) Vienna (Austria)

3) Budapest (Hungary)

4) Krakow (Poland)

5) Berlin (Germany)

6) Hamburg (Germany)

7) Bremen (Germany)

I shall start with my favourite- Krakow.

Day 1: The moment i stepped out of the train station, i saw this fairy-tale like scenery.

Not to forget, i took a sleeper train which lasted for 10 hours. Look at how cramp it is! there are another 2 beds below. Try to imagine that =)

Krakow is well known for its Dumplings. The ones that i tried were with meat.

Yummy fruity pancake with berries ooshing out the moment you slice the pancake. Sounds good?

Day 2: Auschwitz (Concentration camp in Poland)

The entrance into the concentration camp (Arbeit macht Frei)- Work for freedom.

At Birkenau. This concentration camp is almost 6 times bigger than the one at Auschwitz.

This picture shows the nazis at that time who "selected" the people and from there either the prisoners are given work or sent to be killed. I heard from the tour guide that the jews didnt know about their extermination, In fact they look forward to going there having been promised by the nazis of a "Canada" (the richest country at that time)

About 6 prisoners would sleep on one level of wooden plank.

Its depressing even as i blog about Auschwitz and Birkenau. Shall end off with this interesting quote.
