Arrival @ Mannheim

Today is my 2nd day in Mannheim. The weather is very cold (-1 deg even as i'm typing now) and 3 layers of clothings don't seem to be enough too! My friends and i went exploring about Mannheim.
Took some random pics!

People here draw on almost every wall available!

We'll have to register here with the police to certify we're residents in Mannheim. And that means extra work for us!!

This pic is awesome! With credits to Charm!

A big bread which sells for 1,60 Euros. Very huge and could definitely last you for 3 meals!

Despite the cold, there was a parade going on. There's just so much to see, every participant there were all ready to set off for their march and many germans were just standing by taking pics and looking on. The atmosphere was just so festive and celebrative. Participants in the march were shouting "Ahoi" which was meant to capture passer-bys attention, people like us, and it sure did!

This nice participant in the parade actually came up and offered to take a pic with us!

A nice teacher gathered her students to take a pic with us after we asked for permission! "Können wir zusammen ein Foto machen?"

The lead marcher accompanied by 2 boys who were still munching on pretzels!

A sweet looking girl!

Carnival Im Wasser-turm. Look at the words carved on the delicious looking cookies. Just thought its a gd way to express appreciation to someone by giving this. It was written on one of the cookies: "Ich bin immer für dich da."- I am always there for you.
A small boy who looks so cute!

Just thought this street looks beautiful! Reminds me of houses along Jelita.

Hahaha...nice shots you got there!

I saw this parade too, but din spend too long watching it. It's been some time since I last saw them - they either weren't around for the last Fasching or perhaps I missed them.

Welcome to Mannheim Zhenle!! :D
